MASTERS MIRACLE HAMMERED!
JEFF & MIKE SCHLEGEL - MASTERS MIRACLE STUPID MOVES
May 28 2005 Editor's Opinions: Jeff Schlegel of Master's Miracle scam fame had a good one with this. Jeff, Bert, and Mike Schelegal (brothers)owned Strategic Telecom 1997 (STS) with overpriced phone cards and phone card machines. The AG in Kentucky slammed them down for pyramiding and it took the brothers several years to pay off the fines to stay out of jail. I think the Strategic Telecom (STS) hot binary scam court case is in the MLM archives as a pdf.
I saw Jeff in Newport Beach when Masters Miracle started, after an MLMIA party at a supper club. Jeff was picking up his signature Lambo. He shouted at me, laughing and bragging, "Hey you ought to see all the STUPID RUBES AND DUDES jumping into Masters Miracle!
This was after Jeff Schlegel had gone to the original Miracle II soap company out of Lafayette, La. saying he wanted to join them. He hung around 2 or 3 days and stole their source for the Miracle soap and their marketing stuff. He and his brother (Mike) then started Masters Miracle. This was shortly after Jeff ripped off an MLM Startup company selling trusts for 2 months at $20,000. He told them he would bring in thousands of distributors each month. After $40,000, 2 months and no distributors, they realized they had been scammed. Jeff has a line of B.S. and print junk. I used to think his brother Mike was OK, but with this Masters Miracle Scam, it is my opinion he is walking on the dark side with Jeff.
Masters Miracle used the sales pitch that God wrote the formula for the liquid soap on the inventors bedroom wall so it was endowed with .... power! Whoo! That was the reason for Jeff Schlegel's crack about "STUPID RUBES AND DUDES" above!
SUING DISTRIBUTORS (BELOW) DUMBER THAN DUMB!
In your Editor's experienced opinion, this was stupid - stupid - stupid: See the note below about Jeff and Mike Schlegel suing (to get restraining orders) top distributors who tried to tell them the Miracle II soap was contaminated. The soap - nuetralizer were bad! By terminating and suing they forced the distributors to send samples to law and health protection agencies. This is certainly the stupidest management decision ever made by an MLM company.
Master's Miracle Announcement - Supplements May Cause Blindness
May 20 2005 - WASHINGTON — A health products company warned on Wednesday that some of its dietary supplements may be contaminated with bacteria that can cause blindness.
The Master's Miracle Inc. (search), based in Minneapolis, said its Fortified Mineral Neutralizer (search) and Ultra Fortified Mineral Neutralizer dietary supplements are at risk of bacterial contamination. According to the Food and Drug Administration, some Master's Miracle distributors have been promoting the use of the supplements in people's eyes. If the contaminated product comes in contact with the eyes, it could lead to serious injury, including blindness.
The FDA also said the supplements do not meet FDA (search) sterility standards for eye products and should not be used or marketed that way. The supplements come in 8-ounce, 20-ounce and 1-gallon size containers. For more information, consumers can call the company at 1-763-493-3200 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. EDT.

MASTERS MIRACLE NEWS RELEASE
MINNEAPOLIS -- The Master's Miracle (TMM) company of Minneapolis, Minn., is alerting the public against applying the company's TMM brand Fortified Mineral Neutralizer and Ultra Fortified Mineral Neutralizer to the eyes because these products may be contaminated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas flourescens/putida and Enterobacter cloacae - bacteria that, if applied to the eyes, might lead to serious injury, including possible blindness. The products are labeled as a dietary supplement and distributed nationwide in 8 oz., 20 oz. and one-gallon size containers.
It has come to FDA's attention that certain TMM distributors are actively promoting these products for ophthalmic use (in the eyes), including treatment for cataracts and allergy symptoms. FDA requires that all ophthalmic products be sterile. TMM products are not sterile and should not be applied to the eyes. TMM has agreed with FDA that, in the future, its distributors must use only company-approved marketing materials and claims for product use for its family of products. In addition, TMM will require its distributors to cease distribution or use of, and destroy any and all marketing materials that make claims for ophthalmic use of the Fortified Mineral Neutralizer and Ultra Fortified Mineral Neutralizer products.
TMM's mission is to offer natural, synthetic-free products, and the company's foremost concern is the well-being of its consumers. TMM is working with a well-known, independent laboratory and an expert from the University of Minnesota to identify the source of these bacteria and eliminate them.
Consumers with questions are asked to call The Master's Miracle at (763) 493-3200 for information.
MASTERS MIRACLE LOSES, THEN WINS TRO AGAINST DISTRIBUTORS
May 20 2005 -- Masters Miracle first lost getting restraining orders against their distributors that they terminated from talking to other Master's distributors. On May 17, 2005, with new "evidence," the Utah Northern Division US District Judge, Dale A. Kimball, reversed his previous decision awarding, "Plaintiff's (Master's Miracle) Motion for Order Enforcing Settlement and Granting Entry of Final Judgment for Permanent Injunction." In his written discussion of the case, Judge Kimball wrote, "...the court orders that the preliminary injunction entered in this case shall be considered and made a permanent injunction, and all pending motions to dismiss claims and counterclaims are denied as moot."
MASTERS MIRACLE TERMINATED AND THREATENS TOP DISTRIBUTOR(S)
Jan 11 2005 --The Master's Miracle is threating to sue (for a restraining order) some of their top distributors for making disparaging remarks about Masters Miracle soap. Several claim it is hurting people and causing sickness. Perfectly within Jeff and Mike Schlegel's rights as company owners, but it would be a lot easier to test their products and see if there is any contamination. Of course, as with their other scams like STS, why should they worry?
This Soap and Neutralizer were originally sold to Master's Miracle for distribution by Clayton Tedeton, the creator of the products, and the story. In January 2004, Master's Miracle decided to manufacture their own soap to make mega bucks with a bigger profit margin. Distributors started complaining about contamination. Allegedly, customers became sick and there were supposedly some deaths (never proven).
The Distributor Rights Association has started getting calls on terminations of complaining distributors. Supposedly, one top distributor who complained and was being terminated was told by CEO Mike Schlegel,
“How can you walk away from the money?”
