WARNING THIS HERBALIFE REPORT CONTAINS FISHY           INFORMATION

(The Cockerham Report link is at bottom of this Warning)

Rob Cockerham who publishes Cockeyed Reports online is a good investigator and writer up to a point then he fell off of  a cliff!  The MLMWatchdog thought the part about the signs was good.  Evidently NWTW did not get to San Antonio because we have barrages of signs for lawn mowers, roofers and realtors.  They far outnumber the "Home Business" signs.  The home business signs I called here were mostly scams, i.e. collecting on court judgments and stuffing envelopes.

Where Rob Cockerman really got suckered and scammed was that he got into MLM bashing with this section of his report --- Part Four: Universal Distributor Saturation

Like most MLM bashers he points out the numbers don't run, but doesn't say why.  The reason that his numbers don't run is that in ANY business endeavors some people work at it and others don't.  MLM is the same.  Of course you can't sign up 1.1 billion people because of the first 1000 you sign up 80% don't try to do anything.  Period zip zero!  The fascinating part that gives him away is he doesn't quote the federal court case on saturation.  Instead as his gurus he quotes these two flakes among others:

1. Cockerman links to Jon M. Taylor, Ph.D., Consumer Awareness Institute, that is a parody of scientific research.  Taylor sent out a questionnaire to multiple MLM companies about numbers and says because they didn't answer that proves his hypothesis that MLM companies are pyramids.  Really shaky hypothesis and proof.  My degrees (I have more formal education that this guy) included a lot of statistics and logic.  If you study his logic and statistics --  They are fishy!

2. Cockerman then links to False Profits, by Robert L. Fitzpatrick and Joyce K. Reynolds, is a supposed exposé and analysis of the multi-level marketing (MLM) industry.  Fitzpatrick got his research from playing in Airplane Game Pyramids in Florida.  He had some friends in NSA and others.  He became an expert!   Wow!  Don't ever buy this book; your watchdog considers it fishy!

3. Cockerman bashes ephedra not distinguishing it from ephedrine.  We can forgive for that he doesn't claim to have a degree in Pharmacology.  The  MLMWatchdog would like to point out that a lot more people die of fat than ephedra.
