MLM INSIDER PUBLISHER SLAMS "BIG AL"
TOM SCHRIETER

Editorial Rod Cook
Thank heavens I no longer have an association with the MLM Insider.  This is a rude crude attack on Big Al -- disguised as an article, and a part of which, is totally false.

Why Rod is upset ----- I sat around at the MLM Insider Magazine ~ MLM WatchDog in the past and had to take flack about Corey and Len Clements joining Longevity as the Publishers Group.  I received nasty email about them being  "Mercenary WatchDogs."  Then, when I started the old MLMWatchDog board on AOL some of the first posts were:  "The Publishers manipulated  their position in the industry to cut a sweetheart deal with Longevity and the rumor is they received multiple binary positions feeding all."  Yada  Yada-Yada.  I was slammed and attacked by association.  I defended them.  Free country  -- and did not see anything they did wrong.  Times change and people make different choices.   For Corey to attack Tom Schreiter (who supported both Len and Corey) I say, this comes under the heading of "Dumber than Dumb" articles.

Big Al Starts MLM Company
by Corey Augenstein
Now, after seeing how Tom and his crew has pre-launched his new company I couldn't be more embarrassed and ashamed. It has been totally unprofessional  both in methods and tactics. So far they've been doing nothing but hype, with no substance or facts.

<<Rod Ed.>> Corey, who promised what?  The web site and email have been rather sedate for a prelaunch.  Great way to prevent those pre-launch illegal earnings claims!  Don't publish a comp plan.  THIS SHOULD BE A NEW STANDARD FOR THE INDUSTRY!   :>)

Case in point:
For the past two weeks VitaMark has been promoting conference calls to drum up excitement with but, on those calls very little to no information about the company is offered except how great it will be, yet they are taking distributor applications for $$$$. This is called VAPORWARE HYPE!!!  Frankly, Tom and Art should never have pre-launched this company without disclosing concrete facts.

<<Rod Ed:>> Since I haven't heard or seen any HYPE except maybe by front jumping "future" distributors, maybe you should go back and check your email... who is hustling mega $$??  Big Al lives a lifestyle of extreme economy (except for cruises) and probably has more in his piggy bank than 99% of the startups do.  :>)

Sadly, what they are doing violates just about everything they teach in their generic seminars about network marketing. What is more embarrassing is the droves of distributors signing up without the facts and just on the basis of their good names. If this thing goes bad, it will have an extremely negative impact on MLM.

<<Rod Ed.>>  Corey, you should have stayed in the room during the seminars.  :>)  I have been to most of them and never heard a lecture on due diligence or what to look for.  Quit fabricating!

This is very surprising especially when you consider that Tom Schreiter and Art Jonak should be the obvious people to launch a company with the i's dotted and t's crossed. We should demand perfection from them, as they should be setting an example for the entire industry on doing it right!!!

<<Rod Ed:>> Is the company launched?  Some of the bigger, older companies started without any i's and t's  -- much less dotting and crossing.

An Aside:  Speaking of crossing t's and i's - as an example to the Industry when you do the MLM INSIDER newsletter and slip in long ad's for "Human Hoof and Mouth Disease Stopper"  could you put in a disclaimer at the beginning of the ad.  Something that says,  "I belong to this company!"   I got nasty emails about that!  QUIT IT!

Another disturbing fact is John Milton Fogg, highly respected and famed MLM author and trainer has also signed up into the company. Logic says he probably has a financial deal of some sort but, even if this is not the case, why would John pursue this opportunity without any facts and just on the basis of Tom and Art's good name.

<<Rod Ed:>>  Free Country!  Poor John lost his shirt in the UpLine/NetWork Marketing Lifestyles debacle and has to eat!  If he had joined your company, I bet this paragraph would not be here!  Cut Him Some Slack!  Besides Big Al is too fiscally conservative to cut any financial deal with Fogg.

Many in the industry have promoted Tom, Art and John's valuable books, tapes and seminars and again I can only hope that they can still be trusted not to use this huge membership or client databases to market VitaMark. Certainly, it would be easy for them to exploit their reputation, credibility and name recognition all of which were created, for the most part, by those who referred their prospects and downline to them over many years.

<<Rod Ed:>> I have known Tom for 17 years or so.  We were in companies under the same corporate umbrella at one time.  He helped found what came to be Nutrition For Life.  In those 17 long years I have never met or ran across anyone that said Tom used his seminars, materials, or databases to recruit them to NFLI.  Likewise, when Tom Schrieter and Tom Pareedes did the "Opportunity Connection Magazine" that database was never used for recruiting.  The "Network Trainer Magazine"  database was never used for any mercenary purposes.

The bottom line is strong, enduring MLM companies are based on an excitement about a comp plan and/or a strong enthusiasm over a product line. Neither of which exists here. People are joining VitaMark based on the names of the founders only, and that's not a very good thing to base a potential career choice on. In fact, it's foolish, and goes against all the things Tom , John and Art have taught about proper due-diligence.

<<Rod Ed:>> Corey, quit fabricating. I don't know about Fogg and all the Upline material, however, I do know Art and Tom have never taught a due diligence seminar.  What is this?  If you repeat a fabrication often enough people will believe you? Right?  Oooooooh!  My head hurts!

I would urge all of you comtemplating getting involved in this opportunity or are already involved, not to do anything else except for getting a free VitaMark website. This will enable you to get updates from the company and to establish the foundation of an organization if things should work out. Other than this. Don't fill out a distributor application; Don't send VitaMark any $$;
UNTIL VITAMARK IS FORTHCOMING WITH ALL THE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY INCLUDING: MANAGEMENT, COMPENSATION PLAN, PRODUT LINE IN DETAIL AND MARKETING SUPPORT.

<<Rod Ed:>> Pardon Corey's spelling in the last two paragraphs, he really must have been in a dither!  Corey, go find a scam to stop or something evil to rant about. Tom Schreiter is one of the good guys.

<<Rod's Last Note On This Subject>>: Through the years Tom and I have discussed why companies committed what we considered suicide.  He knows business as KASS publishing proves, the longest lived MLM publishing and training company.   I know Big Al could be a consultant to start up companies.  Personally, I think at this point in life he is having a "midlife" crisis to do this. BUT! Better and cheaper than getting a new younger wife!  :>)
