BALTIMORE RENTAL PYRAMID SCAMMERS SCAMED
One woman and her partner paid $6,000 for a year-long lease after she recruited as many as 40 people, friends and family. She claims they all signed contracts like hers that offered cheap rent on an apartment. Ed. Note: Sounds like “head hunting” the classic sign of a pyramid scheme!
TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! YES THAT THAT RIGHT 99.9% OF TIME - STUPID!
All renters say they had to do in exchange is give (substitute RECRUIT) a list of friends to refer for the same deal and pay a monthly membership fee. According to the contract, it was part of a marketing plan for a company, Digital Zone Electronics Warehouse. Not the first rodeo for the crook running the scam! Read on! Ed. Note: The scammers doing recruiting? First clue: when electricity turned off!
