ANTI-MLM ZEALOT
Copyright violaton. Should I send MLMWatchDog a cease & desist letter now? After all, the MLMs have been sending anti-mlm websites cease and desist letters for a longtime.

UR WatchDog Editor
SEND THAT LETTER on a Trade Mark violation of using MLM Survivor name on an editorial news site. Great idea! Better yet sue me! Watch the appearance of a countersuit in a half heartbeat! After tangling with Bill Gouldd and hammering his Equinox, 2 Extreme Performance, Global Prosperity and a number of other crooks (none related to legitimate MLMs), you really worry me. :>) That is why I am always angry at you. There are BAD guys to stop! But you don’t know the difference!

It would have been nice if Len had added the email where I did name names to their blog. OTOH, since his MLM was one of those, I'm not surprised that he omitted that email. Amongst companies I mentioned were Amway, Herbalife, Trek. (Ed. Note: Trek? Dead long gone. No retailing the other 2?
fat chance! Each one has over a 100,000 customers)

MARKET WAVE
I'm not about to get into this ridiculous argument again, Jonathon. "Prohibit" means they forbid it. They have rules against. They penalize you for doing it. NONE of the companies you listed have any policy, rule, agreement, provision, or bylaw that "prohibits" retail marketing in any way, to any degree.
I think you mean "inhibit" and you're just using the wrong word (and even that wouldn't be true). If you do mean "prohibit" then you are flat out, bold face lying. If you have such a long list of companies, you should have no problem showing me where in their policies they "prohibit" retail marketing. Show me one example.
But this is where we left off last time, remember? I asked for this and you couldn't provide the proof. Yet, you STILL keep making the claim. That means this isn't just an honest mistake, you are deliberately attempting to mislead people. That's a LIE.

a) So far, no pro-mlmer has provided _documented_ proof to this list, that they ever showed a profit. [Nor do the two pro-mlm websites on the profitability of an mlm distributor provide such documentation.]
Insert Ur Editor Rod Cook: Of course Pro-MLMers can’t provide proof on this list! You don’t allow the posting of rational arguments for MLM! You censor the list and don’t let people like Rod Cook and Len Clements post! If it shows MLM is good you delete the message before it is published!
b) The mathematics of mlm are akin to that a pyramid scheme. The _only_ difference between the two, from a legal POV, is that the former meets the following criteria:
i) More than 50% of _all_ product is sold to third party customers.
ii) More than 70% of the product is sold at retail.
iii) Distributors have at least 10 customers per month.
iv) Distributors do not incur any monetary gain from signing up new
distributors. That includes "fees" paid for training, materials, or
any other alleged expenses, or charges.
Now, can you name _one_ MLM that meets those four criteria?

Sure, the fastest growning MLM dollar wise in the U.S. is Keller Williams real estate. Nobody makes money until a house is sold. How do you counter that one ZEALOT?
(2)
Your i thru iv are wrong Anti-MLM Zealot! The FTC does not require these, they have said they are desirable, but not a reason to shut a company down. Of course the FTC is wrong too?
17 July 2004 -- MLM SURVIVOR BOARD - MLM'S ARE ILLEGAL (MYTH OR LIE?)
JONATHON MLM BASHER - There is a tremendous difference between retailing, and retail marketing. Do note what I wrote. "prohibited retail marketing", not retailing. I don't have the time to search the MLM Survivor archives right now, but at least one person reported that their MLM prohibited retailing. Here: (a) You obviously don't understand the difference between retail marketing, and retailing. (b) If you want the name of the MLM that prohibited retailing, look in the MLM Survivors Club archive. It was sometime in April or May.
LEN CLEMENTS - You said 99.99% of MLM companies PROHIBIT RETAIL MARKETING. That means that over TWO THOUSAND MLM companies DO NOT ALLOW their reps to do this. You can play all the word games you want, Jonathon, but out of thousands of companies that you claim PROHIBIT RETAIL MARKETING all I asked you to do was NAME ONE – and then explain how that ONE company means that 99.99% of ALL companies PROHIBIT RETAIL MARKETING? Why do you anti-MLM zealots have such a hard time admitting when you're wrong? Len
