COMPUTERWORLD = IDG NEWS
COMPLETELY TRASHES GLOBAL VERGE AS CELL PHONE SCAM
27 July 2009 These Investigators went further and deeper than anyone else. Read Summary below PROOF Global Verge Distributors are Drinking Grape Koolaid Jim Jones style. Computer World considers this complete telephone (cell phone fraud)
TELEPHONE FRAUD? READ THE ARTICLE BELOW = CRAZY!
Global Verge distributors are in danger of MLM fraud and shafting even before the ink is dry on their agreements:
1.
Global Verge does not have the exclusive marketing rights with Zero 1 as they said.
2.
Zer01 has no loyalty to Global Verge and is going to go main stream into big box stores like “Besy Buy”
3.
Global Verge = affinity groups only or what?
NEW LANDING PAGE FOR GLOBALVERGE HELPS CAUSE
NEW LANDING PAGE ON RECRUITING SITE SAYS
Latest WatchDog opinion = Better:
1. Claims 3G++
2. 5G claims rouge Distributors spreading hype accross web (nothing about conf. calls I heard)
3. Any thing new like this new phone expect some glitches/ problems
The interesting part is a WatchDog reporter sent me the link.... not any of the bitching Global Verge Distributors have been doing nothing but crying.
GLOBALVERGE - BUZZIRK ETC - FLAK CONTINUES
Mark Petschel CEO of Globalverge still hasn't sent over exonerating materials I asked for before:
1. You said, "Amped Mobil went belly up." Hey if Amped Mobil went belly up proof did not just disappear.. No matter where they were they got money and you should have bankruptcy papers. How about an online article about their demise as a feeble defense. Where did the money go to? People blame you Mark!
2. You said, "Everge was hostally taken over by a now ex owner who was sued and we had to disolve it according to the suit to get our ruling." Hey if you got a ruling out of a court you should have a .pdf. At the least be able to provide an online link to your ruling. I am being nice how much easier can this get?
Reader input Fair Criticism: Where do you get that GlobalVerge - Buzzirk offered 5G equivalent capability?
There is not anything in their published material claiming that! You are wrong! Retract it idiot!
Editors Note: Of course there isn't GlobvalVerge - Buzzirk would get nailed about a 5G lie in print on their website. So a hallmark of illegal hype is conference calls (verbal). Then....... GlobalVerge - Buzzirk Distributors put in in print across the web.... and yes I have copies that were posted on the web about GlobalVerge 5G - 180 MegaBytes (not megabits).
ADD on: That is why good MLM Companies are looking at shutting Distributor owned websites. That is BAD! I have been on a rant with shutting down Distributor websites... all week too! See FDA attacks Cheerio's.
ADD on: FAIR AND IMPARTIAL - Notice below I attack Sprint and Wimax for their 4G scam.
GLOBAL VERGE (AND WE FOUND A VIRGIN SEE BELOW)
This is Mark Petchel CEO of Globalverge. It is ironic that you posted this false information, without verifing it first. Ted or myself had no ownership or control of country Club, we put 32K people in just 6 weeks and the company could not handle the growth.
WD Editorial Opinion: And yes Mark YOUR history with the Missouri AG??… Paul Schieder pulled the plug. Remember what I said about, "the gang that can’t shoot straight"? So Mark, you ended up taking the heat in the MLM arena you redid the complan and were point man with Country Club. Your reputation - sorry. Per below you are being scammed again I bet (bet at bottom).
We did launch Buzzirk in 2006 at the Emmys, and our provider Amped Mobile went belly up, not in our control. Everge was hostally taken over by a now ex owner who was sued and we had to disolve it according to the suit to get our ruling.
WD Editorial Opinion:Easy Mark. Step one: send me a link to the lawsuit about Everge below. I will post it here. That exonerates you for Evervege! For Buzzirk, how about a bankruptcy filing for Amped Mobile? Easy game!
The new Globalverge/Buzzirk/Zer01 offering is a real deal. We have over 30 handsets operating as Beta tests. We have more phones going out later this week in Vegas, and have a standing order for June of 20K SIMs and 10K handsets. We are rolling this out in a controlled rollout to Globalverge leaders, then to all members, then to the public. It is not the SIM that makes this work it is the technology, software and nterconnect agreements. This is being done in Europe already. Look at the videos from credible sources of the technology being used. I wuld like to have a call with you and answer any questions you may have. Then create a statement about this, not before.
WD Editorial Opinion: Mark you have been suckered again! Hey, there is NO 4G in the U.S. much less the standards for 5G implemented. Good, send me a phone that hits 4G standards and I will get off your back. Here is a rant about 4G scams in the U.S. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU)'s official requirements for 4G include average downlink speeds of 100 Mbit/s (12 megabytes) in the wide area network, and up to 1 Gbit/s for local access or when devices are NOT moving.
WD Editorial Opinion: Consumer CELL PHONE Scams: If you see ads for 4G from Sprint about WiMax, they are lying. Thier peak is about 12 meg far short of 100 meg downloads (inferring Bits Not Bytes). We can add Clearwire and Verizon to that list. Surprising, AT&T hasn't come out with 5G ads. And yes, there is a phone reseller named 5G.
ANOTHER READER VOTES 5G SCAM
Multiple Line Textbox 1 Rod, I have been getting information on this program for some time now. I have been in the Telecom Business for 43 Years, and the short version of this program is "There Ain't No Way", they would need 50 Billion Dollars to do this, at least. I think you are on the right track MLM cell phone fraud.
WD Editorial Opinion: Yes it is bait and switch… suck people in for 5G hype and sign them up for Global Voip that other MLM companies sell for less....... USE current phone, no new contracts.
ANOTHER READER
Multiple Line Textbox 1 Thank you Rod for the quick update on Global Verge. I have been very successful and I have been approached by 4 different people in my downlines with this new program. Their excitement is just too good to be true.
ANOTHER READER: PAINFUL EXPERIECE
Multiple Line Textbox 1 They tried this before a couple of years back and never pulled it off. They are 100% hype and know how to Run a business (Into the ground) I lost so much money having them hype myself and my team with all the previous programs that its a relief that people see what this company is all about...Zebra's don't normally change stripes so it will be revealing if Mark P. puts this together the way he is proposing.
READER OPPOSING OPINION
Multiple Line Textbox 1: As for the 2100 Mega hertz technology----It is real as it was auctioned off by the FCC in 05 and among others Deutsch Telecom (associated with TMobile domestic operations) invested $4+ billion dollars in access to the frequency here in the U.S.
Vox communications verified that they have agreed to do business with Unified technologies by providing their proprietary voip compression / recompression technology for data transmission from mobile sources. Does it matter what your opinion of this looking like a scam is if they reliably bring high speed (simply verifiable by testing upload and download speeds from one of their phones) data access via a portable device. If it all proves to be what they are claiming---how quickly will you print an update on their marketing success and wouldn't you like to have full access to unlimited Internet, talking, and texting for only $79.95 monthly?
I'll keep you abreast of the facts as they unravel. No hype, no exagerations, no claims,----just the facts. As I appreciate the great job that you site does at conveying information and want to be a part of helping you keep it accurate.
WD Editorial Opinion: T-mobile, the company that has the 2100 MegaHertz frequency isn't even jumping in to 4G yet. Why? The frequencies opened up by TV stations shutting down (THIS MONTH) on lower bands work better than the higher frequencies for 4G….. more so for future 5G (that standards still aren't set for yet). So the higher frequency and 4G (and someday 5G) are a bad match. Also, there are 3 other MLM companies doing compressed VOIP from cell phones globally without buying a cell and International voip at a lot less than $79.95 a month. No new cell or plan, just program and dial. Remember, you may be being conned thru cellphone fraud- above.
A megabyte per second (MB/s or MBps) is a unit of data transfer rate equal to:
* 8,000,000 bits per second, or
* 1,000,000 bytes per second, or
* 1,000 kilobytes per second, or
* 8 megabits per second.
READER: YES THERE IS AN MLM VIRGIN LEFT - WOW!
Multiple Line Textbox 1 Help. Why would a respected International Wireless Technology Show, vote this company's technology the "Best Of Show" at this event in Las Vegas? And why would Tech writers be lining up for stories on this technology?
WD Editorial Opinion: Short and simple MLM VIRGIN! Buy an ad in a magazine and get “BEST OF SHOW" from the magazine. This is good business for the show promoters to have as many of their customers (The paying exhibitors) take home ribbons and awards; just like the County Fair….It keeps the exhibitors coming back year after year. Good for the magazines because they sell big ads! “Laptop Magazine” award. Hey look at the Network Marketing Business Journal... "New Kid on Block" front page and "Company Of The Month"... advertorials... NOT FREE. Legal, ethical, but if you are in MLM over a year you can see through the advertorials in a heart beat - GET REAL!
SEND ROD A 5G PHONE THAT BEATS 4G STANDARDS
AND I WILL TEST IT IN 60 SECONDS - IF I AM WRONG,
I WILL APOLOGIZE FOR 6 MONTHS FOR CALLING THIS MLM CELLPHONE FRAUD
MOBILE CELL PHONE SCAM? GLOBAL VERGE!
Editor's opinion note: This is like a throw back to the old super hype scam phone cards in the early 90's! It is almost laughable! Now we have super hype Cell phone fraud.... Rod
There is a big buzz about Global Verge, AKA Buzzirk Mobile, AKA E-Verge. These same guys have been trying to launch following “The Country Club” scam that had some stumbling success in 2005-2006….
Two reporters say they are not ‘basic dishonest crooks’ by design or purpose, just the ‘gang that cannot shoot straight’ plus ‘slick operators’ that have grandiose ideas and have never been able to get anything off the ground…. One reporter with a current law enforcement background says they are a scam. So now we have a new round of MLM Telephone - Cellphone Fraud?
Lets see about MLM due diligence:
1. Global Verge: MLM detective on the WatchDog here. No pictures of offices or officers, or addresses for Global Verge = high possibility of a scam – sirens going off and bells ringing in the MLM Fraud corner!
2. Same for Unified Technologies (on calls you will hear United Technologies which is a real company) “the owner” presented it as a monstrous, global company.. so there is some bait and switch in names -plus:
a. See MLM detective: Unified Technologies address goes to a commercial mail box store. That sure does not match the picture of the Unified Technologies building.
b. All the phone numbers go to a virtual switch board with voice boxes. The big tip off the one for Unified Technology stock is a voice box. This never happens! If they want to sell stock somebody is going to be on that phone.
Remember, for all the ‘packaging and fluff’ they have put around this Global Verge launch with all the various entities and technologies they claim to have:
1. The product will not be available until July or after (Just like Buzzirk mobile, and it never did appear).
2. They do not have any current customer base or track record of provisioning, billing and customer care, nor do they have people with track records of running a wireless telecommunications company apparently….this Zero1 outfit is just a new (2008) RESELLER, despite all the hype.
3. Selling a technology that “is new” and special is an old bait and switch game used by hypsters that may be scammers. Here is the tech truth:
a. There are only two nationwide GSM networks covering the USA, T-Mobile and AT&T (Sprint is different technology) and anything GSM with a modified SIM card will have to have service from the existing networks. It would cost billions for a new company to put up transmitters, repeaters and receivers across the company.
b. This idea of some exotic programming of a SIM card to make a mobile phone have other applications has been around since GSM came into use as an alternative to CDMA or TDMA. Again, I suggest if it were a real ‘game changer’ from a technology perspective, the two major GSM network players would have been all over it.
4. Suckers: You are warned........ I hope that if you put in the money, you at least get a GSM phone that works. I bet you get a 3G phone! Meantime MLM CELLPHONE FRAUD!
MLM INSIDER MAGAZINE FEBUARY/MARCH 1996
MLM TELEPHONE TIPS FOR YOU
Rod Cook Publisher-Owner MLM INSIDER Magazine
The #1 MLM Gripe Costs Thousands of $!
It's hated, it's obnoxious, it's insidious and may have cost you landing that coveted distributor who could sign up thousands. Is Hi tech, Low touch killing you?
The Speed Freak - This guy is on methampthetamines or 13 cups of coffee. He thinks that by speed speaking his message he will save a dime on the phone bill. Sorry Freak, nobody can understand your message much less copy down your number. All of us have a tendency to speak our own telephone number too fast - we know it too well! Slow down on your name and number. Most answering systems start from the beginning when played back. Start your message with your name and then slowly repeat your number. Example: “This is Rod Cook my number is 2-1-0 6-4-6 9-4-1-6 again 2-1-0 6-4-6 9-4-1-6. I called to ask you about………..”
The Stupid Freak - Gets on the answering system and blunders around. Make notes before you call someone, either machine or in person! 1 or 2 lines is fine if that covers the subject, it keeps you from driveling on and sounding stupid. It can save a lot of time if the person on the other end gets your message and knows what to talk about when they call you back. It builds good relationships and saves on the phone bill.
Bad Breath Out - Poor responses in. Listen to your outgoing message on your answering system. You can spend thousands on MMM, USA Today and the Internet and get hang ups because of a poor message. Let's face it, if you don't have a good, pleasant voice, have someone else record it. Keep your message clear, interesting (vs monotonous) and keep away from humor because few of us can do it well.
Recruiting Message Outbound- Do your homework. Leave a message that sparks interest, tells what you can do for them, hit them with just headlines of benefits to them in less than 30 seconds. Don't expect a call back. What you just gave them was a short infomercial. The prospective recruit knows who you are and that you care enough to take time to give them information. Have a live message ready if you get them on line. Don't sound like a telemarketer!
Hit Them Twice- Then leave the message: I'll assume that your needs have changed and that you decided not to take part in the opportunity of the decade. If you change you mind please call me at _____. You will be surprised at the response. Don't be sharp - just a little on the sad side!
Little Things - Stand up when possible. You need the exercise and it gives depth to your voice. Don't tuck your chin down when speaking. Don't sound like a robot. Buy a good phone. AT&T makes the best sounding portable on the market. You can buy inexpensive rebuilds at their phone stores. If you don't like calling, get a partner that does!
Your Company - In company reviews the INSIDER criticizes companies for their poor voice mail. You can sign up a new distributor- then lose him in a month if your company has poor voice mail. Human answering is still the best. Some of the fast growing companies still stick with that system. Harass your company if their voice messaging is the least bit flaky.
Ed. Note: From a survey of over 1000 callers in the last two years. Many networkers don't realize the importance of the telephone. It is the essence of MLM$$$
